Poster design entered for the Museum of Contemporary Art's The Freedom Principle: Experiments in Art and Music, 1965 to Now exhibition, which highlighted the 1960s African American avant-garde to current art and culture. The poster highlighted the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Association for the Advancement of Creative Musicians, an organization of Chicago musicians whose explorations expanded the boundaries of jazz.
