Deutsche Bank - #WhyBanksMatter

💪 This project won Gold at the German Prize for Online Communication (Deutscher Preis für Onlinekommunikation) for the Finance & Insurance Industry Sector 💪

Deutsche Bank came to me with the task of creating unique gifs for their recent project, #MyDataAndI. The interactive website is a feature about the value of data and the possibilities for individuals to profit from data protection. Users of the “Scrollytelling” site are invited to chat to avatars Amy, Julian and Marcus about the value of data in the Big Data era. The three fictitious characters reflect the views of our diverse clientele and ask important, critical questions – and our experts provide the answers (via gifs made by MOI!). Look through the experience below.

This video is in German, ENJOY!

There are three main “characters” that assist site visitors through their journey, each based on a specific type of Deutsche Bank customer: a millennial, entrepreneur, or young founder.

As the chat continues, I created “reaction gifs” to be used by the characters to keep the conversation fun.
